Eyebrow Microblading

Achieve the look of permanent eyebrows. Stop applying makeup and filling in your eyebrows every day. Microblading is a tattooing technique and form of permanent makeup in which a small handheld tool made of several tiny needles is used to add semi-permanent pigment to the skin. Microblading differs from standard eyebrow tattooing, as each hairstroke is created by hand using a blade which creates fine slices in the skin, whereas eyebrow tattoos are done with a machine and single needle bundle.

What is Microblading?

Microblading is a cosmetic tattooing procedure that fills in thin eyebrow areas to make them look fuller. For people with thin eyebrows looking for what some consider to be a semi-permanent fill, microblading might be an option.

Unlike a traditional tattoo, which is permanent, the coloring from microblading may last for up to 3 years. This is because microblading uses different tools and a smaller amount of pigment. Clients come in once a year for a color boost to enhance and brighten the brows. Not every client is a candidate for Microblading. We will contact you before the procedure to discuss your skin, possible contraindications, risks, and what to expect.

What to expect

  • The first step in the process is to coming in for a FREE consultation. We will carefully examine your skin and determine if you are a good candidate for the microblading procedure.

  • The process involves carefully mapping out your eyebrows to determine the best shape, size, and placement. We meticulously map out your new eyebrows based on your personal preference. We want to ensure that you are happy with the size, shape, and placement before we move on to the microblading procedure. Be sure to voice any concerns.

  • After mapping, we use a numbing cream to numb the eyebrow surface area to reduce discomfort.

  • We use a hand-held microblade tool with needles.

  • Microblading involves breaking into the skin, and infections are possible if untrained people practice under unhygienic conditions. At My Pretty Face Skincare Studio, we provide a clean, sterile environment and utilize best practices for maintaining a sanitary environment.

  • Your first session will take approximately 3 hours. The process if very detailed. We take our time to ensure your happiness with your new eyebrows since they will be on your face for approximately 3 years.

  • You may feel a scraping-type of sensation in the brow area, but the process is usually only minimally painful and very tolerable.

  • Before you leave, we provide you with aftercare instructions.

  • Clients come back in 6-8 weeks for touchups and then return 1 year later for a color boost.
